SOLAS IMO Fire Fighting MED/5.20 Regulation for EU-flagged vessels: This explosion proof / intrinsically safe radio will enable EU-flagged vessels to comply with the SOLAS MED/5.20 requirement from 3 October 2022, for 'two sets of two-way portable radiotelephone apparatus for firefighters', with minimum gas rating of ATEX IIB and MED Wheelmark approved.
